Creating an Autoresponder

See Video

When? If you are going on holiday or will be away for a period of time, or if you just want to send out some information to everyone that emails you (e.g. your telephone number if the email is urgent).
How? Every email that is received at the autoresponder address will be replied to automatically with this message.
NOTE: When creating an autoresponder you should use an existing POP3 address (see Creating an Email Account).
HowTo:
  • Click on Mail in your control panel.
  • Click on Auto-Responders.
  • Click Add AutoResponder.
  • In Email, enter the name of the email account which you would like to make an autoresponder.
  • In From and Subject enter the details you want to appear in the from and subject of the autoresponse email.
  • Finally, in Body, enter the message you wish to send in the autoresponse.
  • Click Create.
  • You have now created an autoresponder. Now when a visitor sends an email to this address (directly or through a form), they will automatically receive an autoresponse.
